— Help Center
Plain answers about searching, listing, contacting, and paying on DREDOTT — no jargon.
Every listing has a "Message on WhatsApp" button. Tapping it opens a WhatsApp chat directly with the owner (or an accepted team member managing that listing) — you talk to the real person renting it out, not a call center.
No. DREDOTT is zero-commission: owners pay a subscription to list, and guests pay owners directly with nothing added on top. There is no DREDOTT service fee on your side of the transaction.
A listing with this badge has been physically inspected by the DREDOTT team, confirming it matches its photos and description. Not every listing is verified — treat unverified listings with the same care you would anywhere online, and always confirm details with the owner directly.
Tapping "Follow" on a stay you like means we'll send you a notification if that specific owner publishes a Flash Deal — a limited-time discount on some of their empty nights. You'll also see a live "Flash Deal" badge with a countdown and the discounted price directly on the listing page whenever one is active, even if you didn't follow it. There's no extra step or payment through us — you still contact the owner directly on WhatsApp to book, same as any other listing.
Browse what's available now, or list your own property, car, or business.
Yes — DREDOTT is available in 8 languages: Arabic, English, Italian, Russian, German, Ukrainian, Spanish, and Turkish. Use the language switcher in the header to change it anytime.
Yes — use the compare feature (the icon on a listing card) to add up to a few properties or cars and see their details next to each other before deciding.
No — DREDOTT covers three areas in Sharm El-Sheikh: short/long-term stays, car rentals, and real estate for sale, plus a directory of local service providers (restaurants, pharmacies, gyms, and more) and a local job board.
It depends on that specific vehicle's own rules, set by its owner. Many vehicle listings now show a real map of exactly where the car is allowed to travel (for example, within Sharm El-Sheikh plus Dahab) along with a daily or monthly mileage limit — check the listing page, or ask the owner directly on WhatsApp, before booking.
Yes — some vehicle listings are "For Sale" rather than "For Rent" (look for the amber FOR SALE badge). Contacting the seller works the same way as any other listing: tap the WhatsApp button to message them directly and arrange a viewing, price, and payment between yourselves. A for-sale listing shows buyer-facing details like mileage, condition, whether the price is negotiable, number of previous owners, and whether service history/accident history is disclosed — read these before reaching out. A for-sale vehicle has no rental deposit, pickup, or return process — that flow only applies to vehicles listed for rent.
Register an account, then submit your listing with photos and details. Every new listing is reviewed by the DREDOTT team before it goes live, to keep quality consistent across the platform.
Owners pay a subscription (monthly or annual) rather than a per-booking commission — see the current plans on the Pricing page. There is no percentage cut taken from any booking or sale.
Directly — guests contact you on WhatsApp and arrange payment with you the way you normally accept it. DREDOTT does not sit between you and the guest's money.
Yes — the PM Delegation feature lets you invite a team member (a property manager, family member, or staff) with scoped permissions to manage specific listings on your behalf.
Yes — Unit Registry and Compound Manager help you keep unit numbers and compound-level details organized, and let an admin-appointed manager oversee multiple owners' units in the same compound.
Tasks are personal reminders by default, but you can also assign one to a co-manager who shares management of the same property or car (someone who accepted a PM delegation invite for that unit). When you assign a task, they see it under "Assigned to me" and mark it done when finished — it then moves to your "Awaiting my review" section, where you either Confirm it or Send it back with a note if it still needs work. You can also turn any notification into a task with the "Add to TO-DO" action, and the task keeps a link back to it.
Adding company info (business name, commercial registration number, logo) on your profile lets you list under a "Company" identity instead of your personal name when listing real estate. This claim is always re-checked server-side against your verified team/company records before it's shown publicly — simply typing it into your profile does not by itself create a public "verified company" badge.
A Flash Deal is a short-term discount (10-50% off) on specific empty nights of one of your listings, valid for 24 to 168 hours. Owners on an active subscription can create up to 2 per month (Premium owners have no monthly limit). Once published it goes live immediately and is shown on your listing's public page with a countdown, and every guest who previously tapped "Follow" on that listing gets notified. When a guest reaches out to you about it, open the deal in your dashboard and tap "Mark as Claimed" so it stops showing as available. You can also end a deal early at any time with "End Now" if you no longer want to honor it.
Owners: go to your Portal → Profile page to update your name, phone/WhatsApp number, bio, avatar, payment details, and (if applicable) your company info. Service providers: your business profile is edited from your Portal → Business page's profile section. Both save immediately for plain contact/display details.
Revenue, Occupancy, ADR (average nightly rate) and Bookings all cover the last 30 days, and only count confirmed bookings across your stays and vehicles together -- cancelled or still-pending requests are not included. "Views" and "Saves" on the Subscription Value Snapshot are also a 30-day window. Pricing Tips are a rough rule-of-thumb suggestion based on your recent demand, not a guarantee -- always use your own judgment before changing a price.
Settings → Danger zone has both options. "Pause all listings" takes every one of your live listings offline at once (you can turn them back on individually later). "Close account" permanently deactivates your account — what exactly happens depends on your account's history (active bookings, subscriptions), and is shown to you before you confirm.
A new or resubmitted listing is reviewed by the DREDOTT team, typically within 24-48 hours. You will see its status change in your dashboard and get a notification once it is approved, or if changes are needed first.
It means the DREDOTT team reviewed your listing and needs specific updates before it can go live — the exact reason is shown on the listing itself and in your notification. Open the listing from your dashboard, update the fields mentioned, and save: this automatically resubmits it for review, no separate step needed.
Your listing goes live immediately and becomes visible to guests, with its "Message on WhatsApp" button active. You will get a notification confirming it is live. If you later edit a core detail (like photos, location, or unit), it is briefly pulled back into review to keep it accurate, then re-published once approved again.
Go to Portal → My Profile (in the Compound section of your sidebar) to update your name, phone, WhatsApp, a short note, your avatar, and an emergency contact for the compound. Your manager type, assigned compound(s), and grant status are set by DREDOTT admin and shown there read-only.
From your listing's calendar (or the combined Calendar view covering all your listings), you can manually block dates when a property or car isn't available — for maintenance, personal use, or any other reason. Manual blocks can be added or removed anytime by clicking the date. Dates blocked automatically because of a confirmed booking, or synced in from a connected external channel (like Airbnb or Booking.com via iCal), show on the same calendar but can't be removed manually from here — a booking-linked block clears itself when that booking is cancelled, and a channel-synced block updates the next time that channel syncs. If you manage a listing on someone else's behalf (PM Delegation), you'll only be able to edit the calendar if the owner has specifically granted you calendar-management permission — otherwise you can view it but not make changes.
Team lets you bring in help — a co-host, an operations person, a cleaner, or an accountant — without handing them your own login. From your portal's Team page, send an invite by email and pick a role. The person gets an invite link, creates (or signs into) their own account, and once accepted they see only the parts of your dashboard their role allows — never your login credentials, and never more access than their role grants.
"Views" counts how many times each of your stays/vehicles was opened by a visitor. "Saves" counts how many other users have added that listing to their own wishlist/favorites -- if this number looked stuck near zero before, that was a real bug (a missing database permission that stopped your own dashboard from reading other users' saves on your listings) fixed on 2026-09-27; it now reflects the real count. "WhatsApp Clicks" counts how many times a visitor tapped the WhatsApp button on that listing to contact you -- this is the number closest to real buyer/renter interest, since every guest inquiry on Dredott goes straight to your own WhatsApp with zero commission. Tap any listing's row to drill down into its own day-by-day numbers. Use the period toggle at the top of the page to switch between viewing the last 7, 30, or 90 days -- every KPI and the current-vs-previous-period trend arrows update to match whichever period you have selected.
Five roles exist: Co-host (everything except money and the team itself), Operations (bookings, check-ins, the calendar), Cleaner (calendar only — which units are free vs booked), Accountant (financials and analytics only, no guest details), and Custom (you pick exactly which permissions to grant, one by one). Once a team member accepts their invite, they sign in normally and land on the same portal you use — but the sidebar and every page automatically show only the sections their role/permissions allow, so a cleaner never sees payouts and an accountant never sees guest phone numbers.
Smart Pricing (in your dashboard sidebar under Growth Tools) looks at your own listing's real booking history over the last 30-60 days: if occupancy is high, it suggests a price increase; if it's low, a price decrease; in between, it suggests nothing. It only covers rentals (Stays and Vehicles), not real estate for sale, and it needs at least one recent confirmed booking to have anything to suggest. It is a rough guide based on your own data, not a guarantee or a competitor-price comparison. Dismissing a suggestion only hides it for your current visit -- it is not saved, so it can reappear if the same pattern is still there next time you check. This is a Tier 1+ feature, matching the same rule already applied to the Pricing Tips shown on your main Dashboard.
Open Guests in your dashboard: everyone who has booked one of your listings appears there automatically, with their booking history, contact details and total paid. Tap a guest to rate them (Good / Average / Avoid), write private notes, or add them to your blacklist. All of this is private to you (and team members you gave "guest contact" permission) — the guest never sees it and is never notified. A blacklisted guest can no longer send new booking requests to any of your listings; they just see that the listing isn't accepting requests from their account. Existing bookings are not changed, and the blacklist only affects your own listings, never other owners'. You can remove someone from the blacklist at any time from the same screen.
It is the number guests message when they tap "Contact on WhatsApp" on your listing. Set it on your Profile page — if left empty, your regular phone number is used instead. If neither is set, guests see a notice that you have not added a WhatsApp number yet, so it is worth adding one to avoid missing real inquiries.
They are your own library of pre-written messages (booking confirmation, check-in/out reminders, review requests, and more) at "WhatsApp" in your dashboard. They do not send automatically — there is no WhatsApp Business integration. Use "Copy" to copy the rendered text, then paste it into your own WhatsApp conversation with the guest.
Net Profit = your gross booking revenue, minus any expenses you logged, minus what you paid DREDOTT for your subscription. It's meant to show your real take-home number, not just raw booking totals — your subscription cost and logged expenses are already subtracted for you. Note: the subscription-cost figure is always your all-time total paid to DREDOTT, even if you filter the page to a specific year.
Yes — Real Estate (for-sale) listings have their own dedicated submission form, separate from the rental listing form. Start it from the Real Estate section (Sell your property) or from your owner portal.
The same direct-contact model applies — a labeled WhatsApp button connects an interested buyer straight to the listed point of contact.
A property marked SOLD has already been sold and is no longer available — DREDOTT keeps it visible (rather than deleting it) as a record, but you can't contact the seller through it as an active listing.
It's an optional, paid service on a real estate listing — for a fixed fee (shown on the listing page), DREDOTT arranges a legal review of the sale contract before you sign. It's an add-on you can choose to use, not a requirement to buy or sell.
No — that percentage is the broker or company's own commission on the sale, set and collected by them, not by DREDOTT. It only appears on listings posted by a licensed broker or company (never an individual owner), so buyers know upfront that a commission applies to that specific deal. DREDOTT itself remains zero-commission — owners pay a subscription to list, nothing more.
Register as a service provider and submit your business details for review. Once approved, your business appears in the relevant category of the local directory.
Yes — from your Business Portal's Team page, you can invite staff with role-based permissions (Manager, Cashier, Kitchen Staff, Cleaner, or a fully Custom role where you pick exactly which permissions to grant) to help manage your menu, orders, reservations, and more.
Changing an identity/trust field — business name, description, phone, WhatsApp, email, website, area, address, or plan — sends your listing back for review and temporarily takes it offline while the DREDOTT team re-checks it. Plain operational details (opening hours, categories, photos, your own payment link) save immediately with no re-review.
Browse the Jobs board and apply directly to listings that interest you. Employers review applications and reach out to candidates they want to move forward with.
Yes — open "My Applications & Subscription" from the Jobs portal. If you haven't subscribed yet, you'll see a "Subscribe now" link there to unlock enhanced visibility and application features; if you're already subscribed, the same page shows your subscription status and application history.
Go to Portal → My Profile (in the Jobs section of your sidebar) to update your name, phone, WhatsApp, a short note, and your avatar. This is separate from your public "available for hire" candidacy listing (headline, category, experience, public contact info), which you manage from Portal → Jobs → Candidacy — the same My Profile page links to it, and to your applications subscription.
Log into your DREDOTT account and open the Portal — a "Compound" section appears in your sidebar automatically. If you're on the free Compound Manager tool, it opens your compound dashboard directly on the site. If you've subscribed to Compound OS (the full paid management console), the same sidebar link takes you straight to your own console (e.g. yourcompound.dredott.com) — no separate login needed.
From your Compound dashboard you can view the Unit Registry for every unit in your compound, and record day-to-day operational notes (cleaning schedules, maintenance requests) per unit. Ownership records, sale status, and pricing stay admin-managed for data integrity — a compound manager's role is operational oversight, not changing ownership or listing data.
Yes — DREDOTT is operated by a licensed Egyptian company (Dredott for Real Estate Investment), registered with GAFI, with offices in Cairo and Sharm El-Sheikh. See the About page for registration details.
Use the report option on the listing, or reach out through the Contact page — the DREDOTT team reviews reports and can remove listings that violate the platform's standards.
Reach out through the Contact page, or open a support request — a real person on the DREDOTT team will follow up.
A field can be locked by DREDOTT admin — usually after an ownership transfer or a fraud/dispute correction — to protect it from being changed again through self-edit. If you save a form and see a note that some fields were skipped because they're locked, the rest of your changes still saved normally; only the locked field(s) didn't. Contact the DREDOTT team through the Contact page if you believe a locked field needs to change.
The DREDOTT team set up your account for you (for example, after a conversation about listing your property or joining as a service provider) using a temporary placeholder login only they know. The activation link lets you take it over: click it to set your own real email and password. Once you do, the placeholder login stops working and only you know how to sign in — the team can no longer log in as you.
On the login page, click "Forgot password?" and enter your email — you'll get a reset link by email. If you can't access that email or the link doesn't work, contact the DREDOTT team through the Contact page and they can send you a fresh reset link directly.
These are 3 different levels the DREDOTT team can apply if something on your account breaks platform rules, always with a stated reason: a warning is a documented notice with no restriction on your account; a temporary suspension blocks login for a set number of days, after which it lifts automatically; a ban blocks login permanently. If you believe a notice was issued in error, reach out through the Contact page and a real person will review it.
